No. The AP Coverage Service is a complimentary service offered by Audemars Piguet and is subject to predefined conditions. It is at Audemars Piguet’s sole discretion to decide whether to grant the service and under which conditions.

AP International Sales Warranty warrants new Audemars Piguet watches against any manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of the initial purchase (extendable to 5 years upon registration of the watch on our website). This warranty finds its basis in the law and covers manufacturing defects.

By contrast, the AP Coverage Service is a complimentary service offered under certain conditions by Audemars Piguet which covers the risks of theft and partial or total functional damage.

Damage already covered by the AP International Sales Warranty are excluded from the AP Coverage Service.

Please refer to the Audemars Piguet International Sales Warranty for more information.

International Sales Warranty

The AP Coverage Service is offered by Audemars Piguet free of charge, no premium or deductible are payable by end-customers.

Compared to other similar services, our AP Coverage Service goes beyond the coverage offered by all-risk insurance on the market. Moreover, a service of this extent is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain in certain countries under similar conditions from insurance providers.

The AP Coverage Service may be granted by means of facilitated procedures, via an accelerated announcement and processing procedure and dedicated contact persons. In addition, the qualifying conditions are simplified, in particular securing watches in a safe is not a prerequisite for obtaining the AP Coverage Service.

As stated above, Audemars Piguet may decide to replace the watch if replacement is possible, while insurance providers in the market will provide reimbursement.

In the end, the watch announced as stolen will be recorded as such in our files, which will allow Audemars Piguet to identify it in the event of a return to our network.

The service is valid worldwide; either at home or when you travel.

Yes. The AP Coverage Service must be requested separately for each one of your watches that are eligible to the service.

As the AP Coverage Service is nominative, the service shall be activated again by the new owner in case of change of owner, if the watch is eligible.
