Audemars Piguet celebrated its enduring commitment to music in Hong Kong with a local event, AP x Music 2024, which took place from 27 to 29 September 2024.
The three-day event transformed historic Tai Kwun into a musical playground, with large-scale immersive installations, interactive experiences, dynamic outdoor live performances and late-night DJ live sets.
Large-scale installations and interactive experiences immersed visitors in the cultural universe of Audemars Piguet, highlighting its long-standing relationship with the world of music.
Visitors were able to create their own musical compositions in a dedicated studio, mixing sounds taken from the natural environment of Audemars Piguet’s birthplace in the Swiss Jura, the vibrant local Hong Kong scene and watchmaking elements. Step into a library of top picks iconic vinyl records to explore the curation by Audemars Piguet. The multi-sensory journey continued with an immersive audio-visual installation. The event also included a dedicated exhibition tracing the Manufacture’s connection with fields as diverse as sport, entertainment and music.
A stage in the shape of a larger-than-life vinyl record came alive at night with electrifying performances from local and international music artists.
The opening night kicked off with an exciting line-up of four singer-songwriters from across Asia, including Bohan Phoenix, Derek Dali, Majin, and Ziyi Wang, brought together through a co-creation project between Audemars Piguet and music producer Delf. On the following nights, dynamic musicians and singer-songwriters such as Youngr, Mina Okabe, and Sophy Wong put on a spectacular show brimming with energy.
As the sun set, the indoor venue transformed into a state-of-the-art music stage, with thrilling DJ live sets from DJ Bowlcut, Subez, Daviouxx, Vantage, Woonjii and SPRAY, keeping the energy high until midnight. Immersive audio and cutting-edge lighting technology created an unforgettable atmosphere for music enthusiasts.
