A model wearing a Royal Oak Frosted Gold.

Carolina Bucci's K.I.S.S. collection took shape when the jewellery designer was working with Audemars Piguet in 2018 on her limited Royal Oak edition. Marvelling at the complexity of mechanical movements, she wondered what would happen if a movement was let loose in the world of fine jewellery and given the space to express itself on the wrist or around the neck.

Taking inspiration from the balance spring –one of the key components of a watch's beating heart – she designed a line of necklace and bracelets composed of a flexible sinuous coil of 18-carat gold to be worn effortlessly and in all simplicity. Keep It Super Simple.

Behind the collection’s apparent simplicity of both design and purpose lies a complex savoir-faire. Pushing the limits of what gold can do, Carolina Bucci created a fluid circular silhouette of remarkable flexibility.

There is no spring inside. The bracelet is the spring and the spring is gold. That is the magic.
