The Swiss Haute Horology brand Audemars Piguet has welcomed France’s best professional golfer, the 24-year-old Victor Dubuisson at the Manufacture in Le Brassus. The new member of the Audemars Piguet Golf Ambassador Team spent time at the brand’s private Museum and workshops including the Specialities and Grand Complication Atelier.
A first-time visitor at the Manufacture and the Vallée de Joux, Victor enjoyed his time off the golf course. ”I was impressed to see how meticulously the watchmakers at Audemars Piguet work. This has definitely brought another dimension to the understanding of my watches”, he said.
Wearing a Royal Oak Offshore chronograph, Victor has been known for his style and audacity, and is undoubtedly one of the most talented golfers of his generation. His precocious talent and great strength of character embrace without a doubt Audemars Piguet’s brand philosophy “to break the rules, you must first master them”.
Currently ranked 23rd in the world, this iconoclastic young man was propelled into the elite of world golf at the end of 2013. Victor’s golden hands enabled him to win one of the European Tour season ending tournaments, the Turkish Airlines Open. He continued to make a name for himself and win more fans at the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona, USA last February with fabulous shots, only losing after 23 holes in the Final. Experts predict a radiant future for him.
Victor recently joined the Audemars Piguet golf ambassadors Dream Team composed of Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Darren Clarke, Nick Faldo, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Graeme McDowell, Belén Mozo, Louis Oosthuizen, Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Peter Uihlein and Lee Westwood.
