Opening of Audemars Piguet Pavilion in Guam

Audemars Piguet is proud to announce the opening of its first point of sale in Micronesia, a Pavilion at The Plaze Shopping Center in the heart of Tumon, Guam, USA.
The opening took place in the Outrigger Hotel end of April 2012 where a number of distinguished guests were invited to celebrate the first arrival of the world’s most exclusive Haute Horologerie in the island of Guam.

    The evening started with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by Honorable Ray Tenorio, Lieutenant Governor of Guam, Mr. Angel Mendoza, President & General Manager of DKSH Guam Inc., and Mr.Go Mugino, Representative Director and CEO of Audemars Piguet Japan.

The evening started with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by Honorable Ray Tenorio, Lieutenant Governor of Guam, Mr. Angel Mendoza, President & General Manager of DKSH Guam Inc., and Mr.Go Mugino, Representative Director and CEO of Audemars Piguet Japan. The inauguration was followed by a cocktail reception whereby guests had the opportunity of a private viewing of the store and latest Audemars Piguet collections.

Audemars Piguet Pavilion is located by the entrance off The Plaza Shopping Center overlooking the main street of Hotel Road. The new boutique bears an extended high ceiling created in line with worldwide Audemars Piguet boutique concept with silk-draped oval shaped lamps, wenge wood furnitures and Jura stone, adding a distinctive finishing touch which represents the origins of the Manufacture in Le Brassus.

“2012 is a very important year for Audemars Piguet,” said Mr. Go Mugino, Representative Director and CEO of Audemars Piguet Japan at the beginning of gala dinner. “We are happy to make our first foot step in Micronesia with our partner DKSH Guam when we celebrate 40 years of our iconic timepiece, Royal Oak.”
